On May 27th, FiinGroup and the Institute of Financial Technology at Dai Nam University (DNU FTA) officially signed an MOU, marking a significant step in promoting innovation and developing high-quality human resources through a strong connection between theory and practice from both organizations.
This event marks the beginning of extensive collaboration in training, applied research, and the development of financial technology (Fintech), with a focus on leveraging financial data effectively, creating practical learning environments, and enhancing the quality of research and education at the Institute.
Professor Dr. Giang Dao, Principal of DNU, stated: "The signing today is not just a formal commitment, but a gateway to practical projects, market-integrated classes, and a generation of students who are bold, creative, and driven to contribute to the future of a prosperous Vietnam."
Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, DNU will officially recruit students for the Fintech program, reaffirming its commitment to providing high-quality human resources for the rapidly growing field. From 48 Fintech companies in 2017, the number has now surpassed 200, reflecting exponential growth and expanding career opportunities for Fintech students.
FiinGroup’s collaboration will be a strategic solution, offering DNU FTA students an ideal learning environment by providing direct access to transparent, comprehensive, and up-to-date financial data, as well as applying advanced technologies like AI and Big Data to process large amounts of information in a short time.
FiinGroup’s comprehensive financial data platform is not only a groundbreaking solution to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, but also provides students with an accurate, panoramic view of Vietnam’s financial market, helping them identify the best career paths.
Mr. Hieu Nguyen, CEO of FiinGroup, emphasized: “FiinGroup aims to bring the classroom closer to the market and vice versa. We are confident in offering the largest financial data in Vietnam today, ready to serve research for both faculty and students. Additionally, businesses and the Institute of Financial Technology can collaborate on topics such as tracking the impact of housing price fluctuations on corporate credit, or the effects of US tariffs on key industries. Research products could be commercialized, providing both motivation and drive for both businesses and the university."
He also proposed the establishment of the “E1 Forum” to connect businesses, academics, and experts to share experiences and discuss legal changes, digital data, and practical solutions businesses are facing.
The ceremony concluded, marking the beginning of a strong, long-term partnership between FiinGroup and DNU, reaffirming FiinGroup's commitment to its mission of "Enlighten the Market, Lead the way to Success". This collaboration will not only greatly support financial organizations and businesses but also play a vital role in training high-quality human resources for the financial and data industries in the future.
